Might as well start calling it the 928.

(I love the concept of a modern 928...just not as a substitute for the 911!)

You are correct sir. This time around certain angles make it increasingly difficult to ignore the resemblance

If you have time can you circle it in a 991 photo? I'm relatively new here so I keep wondering what you keep referring to.... but I'm afraid once I see it that it cannot be unseen.

As long as it doesn't look like a 928, I'm all in.

Subtract the turbos
Add displacement
Divide the exhaust tips
Multiply production

Until then, don't call me...

If I remember correctly, you have a cabriolet. In the coupe, with the sunroof open on the highway, the spoiler goes up just enough to catch the edge in your rearview mirror, Otherwise, you can't see it at all. From all the pictures of the 992 I've seen with the spoiler deployed, it just looks terrible.

Some CT Coffee runs coming soon. I'll be the guy in the quiet (fast) car.

Well, this makes me even more pleased with my 991.2! Much nicer body than on the 992 IMO

My guess is that the first "hybrid" 911 ends up being a 48V electric supercharger "boosted" turbocharger. These are pretty impressive devices that allow the turbocharger compressor to spin up fast at low rpm's that would not have sufficient exhaust flow to drive the turbine. I bet we see this in the 992.

Electric motors will be next generation after the 992 if you ask me (which no one does).

cheers!

Like the upcoming E50 AMG with 450+ hp (not the full blast AMG E class).

I think that's been pretty much accepted as fact for months now. First the Panny, then the new Cayenne and, only logical, the 911 with the same dash as the other two would follow suit.
