The 992 shares design cues but I don't think anyone seeing them together would confuse them.
That said, a 2 door Panny coupe would be gorgeous but I don't expect to see one as it would likely steal sales from luxury minded 911 shoppers.

Yup. It’s a Canamera, inside and out.

I hope they still offer the non-LED headlights as an option.

I’m guessing that LED headlights will be standard kit on the 992, as they are now on the Macan, Cayenne and Panamera, at least here in the UK.

Have you seen it in person?

If you have, I don't think you would be saying that.

The 992 has a real presence in person that pictures for some reason do not capture.

Wow - what is with those bizzaro headlights? My eyes are drawn toward the lights because they are so...weird...and not in a good way. It's like a 70's disco ball morphed into a Porsche headlight.

Same headlights that were on the latest Speedster concept, although I’m sure the won’t be red when lit up.

Looking at the above photos posted by STG, I love how you can still see the 911 DNA through the generations, whereas, in my opinion, the same cannot be said of the Aston Martin. I’d pick a 992 over the white DBS any day.

I agree. Although I still prefer the 991, I like the 992 as well and think it will be a great car. It's still a 911, even if it's a bit homogenized.

But I'm really not too keen on those lights...

Now that AM, that's a beautiful automobile. But in a different price range, and probably not as daily usable as I intend for my 911.

Why don't you want LED headlights?

Nothing against LED in general. I don't like the styling of the Porsche LED's on the 992. it's always nice to have a choice.
