Ironic thing is, the 992 GT3 could actually be an improvement over the 991.2

The front bumper looks a bit more rounded and not shark nose like. Still, a lot of camo on it. Rear wing is a beefy testing one. Will look better!

Looks like Naturally Aspirated still. What else do you need?? Who needs complicated turbos and hybrids? Good luck being out of warranty on a hybrid. Give me some weight savings and and a screeching 500 HP engine, and you're in business. How much more do you need? They'll probably bump it up to 530 HP or so. Done!!

Magnetic suspension and a few extra ponies. Magnetic suspension is the special sauce all the other manufacturers are using except for Porsche.

The 992 GT3 looks like a mouse!

Article from last month. Don't remember seeing one with a rear wiper like on the silver one.

Probably posted already. Oh well. More pics.

AZZ?? You can write *** I think?? It flys on TV now.

Doubt the new sound system will be anything to write home about, and lack of BASS there!

Those wider front fenders look nicer. That rear just seems wider than the old 4 body.

Is it just me or is it obvious that the wheels are 20/21...? Maybe on the blue car above I can see it, but on the yellow and silver?

Yep, I’d say that both the yellow & silver ones have staggered wheels - likely 20” fronts and 21” rears. More modest models will have 18”s and 19”s I think I’ve read.

every time somebody posts the high rez pics of the blue car I get excited... I think its going to look great. Only thing I know I'm going to hate is the black plastic in the center console (which is definitely happening). Hopefully it doesn't cost a billion dollars to get leather in the right places inside to make the interior feel nice enough. Design wise I can live with the interior otherwise. Can't wait for the LA Auto Show.

Do you think the wheel arches will also be differently sized? So next size up would only be 20" & 21"?

That blue is my top pick as well. I very much enjoy the look of that blue mule with variation of the spyder wheels. Do you think it is the old Midnight Blue 'nachtblauemetallic' in the direct sun or the 'new' blue paint? Surely it's more lighter blue.. but it's darker then Miami and Saphire one.

Base model 19"/20"
S/4S, etc 20"/21"

Arches will be the same in all models.

The base will just have bigger wheel gap as before. Plus, the OEM wheels offsets are never aggressive. Always tucked under. Even with 991's, you can have 21's all around no issues. The tire profile is usually a little lower.

The 21" isn't a good move. Totally unnecessary and $$. Wheels and Tires. For most daily driver guys, overkill.

Isn't the wheel gap solely driven by PASM or SPASM being optioned? The tire diameter is still the same....it's the rim that is changing in diameter. The 991.1 Base always had a bigger wheel gap because PASM wasn't standard and SPASM wasn't an option. Of course, the 991.2 had PASM standard.

Unless I am missing something which is entirely possible.
