2020 NEXT GENERATION 992 SPY PICS & RELEASE

My bet is that the unveiled 992 will have less ‘black plastic’ at both ends than in these widely circulated ‘spy shots’.

There is a strip of black tape on the upper part of the bumper/diffuser, along with that odd rectangular shaped black tape at the top center above the plate area. I think that makes the rear end appear darker than it’ll be when we see official undisguised pics.
The looks will probably be the most talked about, but I think there is going to be a quantum leap in performance over the 991.2. I think some people will be shocked, and that’ll be the main topic with the 992.

I was waiting to see the details on the 992 before ordering another, but pretty sure at this point I want another 991 and on the list for a November build date.
1. Front bumper seams are straight across. The 991 seams are neatly contoured.
2. Straight edge hood: prefer the round corners of the 991.
3. Rear end: looks like a Panamera at this point. I can't wait for the first posts on somebody walking up to the 992 owner and saying "I didn't know they made a Panamera coupe!"
4. C2 rumored to be a hybrid. More weight offset by more hp. Not digging it.
5. All wide-body models. Prefer the narrow body.
6. Rumored 10K more for base price, but with more features. Hmmm.
7. 100,000 lines of computer code in the 991 vs. 1.1 million in the 992 makes me leery.
8. Analog gauges gone. For me, I like analog.
9. From what I have seen of interior shots, it looks like the PCM screen was sourced from iMax.
10. I do like the hood creases, so I'll give them that. Nice homage.

$10k is quite a price hike!
I remember reading that the Panamera has more lines of code than a jumbo jet. 992 sounds similar.
Rev counter dial will be analogue.
The interior of the 992 sounds like it will have a great deal in common with the new Panamera.

Silver one looks good. Nice wheels! Maybe 21” on back and 20” on front?

This white car is actually vinyl wrapped in white. Look by the front license plate. The lines where it meets the black plastic aren't representative of the actual lines.
Has the ACC Cyclops eye still. Can't they get rid of that?? The center looks open. Third radiator?
The 992 will have the same kind of performance jumps we've seen historically with new models. The 992 will sell well no doubt about it.
