2020 NEXT GENERATION 992 SPY PICS & RELEASE
#1771
(1) Cayman (GT4)
(2) Exige
(3) Caterham
Plenty of choices out there
The 992 is looking like a modern GT style sports car - it will appeal to that type of buyer, they will be looking for a sophisticated, polished, fast super cruiser. In some markets these cars cost double to triple the prices in the US - it isn't hard to see why people paying that sort of coin want more from an interior compared to budget markets like the US, in this regard I think Porsche knows its market very well.
The 992 looks almost identical to the 991.2 - its hard to imagine the chassis is radically different.

3) Not four season daily-able, dead if rear ended
Oh, and none of them have the rear engine personalty.
A gutted, harsh, base engine 911. It's not too much to ask.

Shame about the Lotus - the Exige Cup 430 looks brilliant
GT4 - put some deposits down at a few different dealers - you may get a surprise

Three different styles of exhaust in the video, GT2 RS-like double round, quad round and double square (loudest).

The rear valence....not digging it. Integrated trapezoids...ugh. Looks like a freaking Lexus. The twin twins look too much like an E92 M3. Meh.

So much for "they improved the exhaust sound." Those things sound like V6 Lexus sedans going around the track. Hopefully they've just highly muffled it up to "trick" us, but I have doubts....

Agree that there is still some masking on the rear of car. Without knowing exactly what is underneath vs. the masked parts, the eyes can be easily deceived in making a definitive conclusion. I’m looking forward to seeing the car revealed. I might be surprised and want an upgrade👍
