That looks more like a sportdesign wing that a turbo one to me. I wonder if they have a totally new turbo wing and trying to keep it secret?

Naw. Looks much closer to the 991 Turbo wing than The Duck. It does seem to have some Anatidae genes in the attachment base, but than may be more nurture than nature. The airfoil is all Turbo though.

I’m more interested in - frightened actually - to know what are the two dimples in the middle of the butt. I suspect that they are for rear-quadrant stereoscopic sensing of some sort. If true and part of the production plan, then it follows that the 992 Turbo is getting some ‘autonomy’ features.

One could always hope that they are for rear-arc firing HARM missiles.

Those are just clearance for the parking sensors molded into the obfuscation cladding on this development car. There is still a considerably thick layer of cladding on the rear bumper, as well as sections of the front bumper.

I'm getting a very Mitsubishi Eclipse feel, especially from the back end with the spoiler up. The whole rear quarter views just look very Japanese to me.

Wow, I had that thought in my mind but couldn't remember what car it was. I can see what you are saying.

Makes sense. So, not missiles. Too bad.

Damn. Those would be useful to deter tailgating crossovers.

Good thing they're not self driving tech. A self driving 911 would be pointless.

Just check the PHARM (Porsche Highway Anti-Radar Missile) option in the configurator, easy peasy.

No doubt country-specific availability.

I've see it mentioned but I don't know if there has been confirmation of using 21" wheels. This rear wheel shows they are at least testing them.

Good catch. Thanks for pointing that out.

And centrelocks. Could that be the new wheel for the 992 GTS?

Am I the only one who thinks 21" wheels look goofy and we've already gone way overboard with wheel sizes?
