Please post sound clips/video of idle / sport plus / maybe some drive by if you can...super curious of how the sound is! good luck with the install!
fitment of the updated system for the .2 system was on point. the .1 muffler they gave me before is ready for a new owner. swapping one for the other only took me about an hour with a friend on a lift.
the differences from .1 to .2 muffler set the exhaust tips lower to fit the valence, tuck the muffler up more to accommodate for extra space for the intercooler exhaust duct in the bumper. for the cat pipes they did put bungs for monitored OPF in the v1 system they sent me to test, they slightly tweaked angles of those bungs based on the stock pipes i sent them.
Thank you SO much for posting all your photos and installation fitment data above!! Glad to hear it went well and very nicely done sir. Can't wait to hear some recordings!!
Would love to hear your thoughts and any in-cabin before/after recordings on this if you can get it. I've been looking at their link pipes/sport cats for my T. Their video is only of the full "exhaust system" for the interior, and mostly what their product sound like outside. I'm not really into what it sounds like to my neighbors. I'd rather it not be crazy loud and annoy them. But I'd love to know what Soul product will add some deeper bass rumble and Turbo noise inside the cabin.
So i've had the soul sport cats and valved rear on the 992.2S for appox 1500 miles and overall very happy. The sport cats are my favorite part. i am looking to sell the rear valved exhaust if anyone is interested. i am in northern NJ.
I just ordered Kline's 992.2 Inconel decat pipes and an OBD killer. Will put it on once my car is delivered. Also adding a BMC air filter and a valve controller from cargraphic. Will post results in around 2 months..just need the damn car now.
I'll probably switch the catback after some time too for the Kline inconel system, if I don't find the tone good enough already. Hence the inconel downpipes, and not steel ones.
I have a stupid question, one that admittedly I've not researched: Does someone make a proper aftermarket sport exhaust but it attaches to the C2 exhaust tips? I'm seriously considering ordering my 992.2 C2 without the Sport Design package, just the front facia and side skirts....... because I hate the PSE, the way it's configured on the back of the car. Reminds me of the fake exhausts on most MB / Audi's now. I hate it. But if I don't go with the Sports Design Package, I'd be missing the rear valance painted as well, and I like that look very much.
"Surprised" by the 4S PSE in a good way, or in a bad way? I'm guessing the latter. Thank goodness for after-market exhaust systems to remedy that problem. My wife's 2025 Cayenne GTS has hands-down THEBEST sounding exhaust of any car we've ever owned.
