I live in the great state of NJ which requires a front license plate. Usually, I would not even bother with putting one on but I take the train for work and park my car at the lot. Of course, the police are quick to ticket any “offenders” with no front license plates and assorted other indiscretions (I once got a ticket on the very first day my inspection sticker expired). I am debating how often I will actually leave the 911 at the lt (if at all), but i do want to drive my car so I envision it happening on occasion.
I was wondering if there are any solutions to putting on a plate for such instances without drilling into the car itself. I have found some solutions online but was looking for an enthusiasts solution to this. The 911 I am considering has ACC so not sure I can even affix a plate long term on the car.
As always, I appreciate everyone’s help and patience.

There are a variety of front license plate solutions for the 992 that do not drill into the front bumper. I use Carbonio mount for ACC - See this thread.
If you do go for the Carbonio mount, make sure to follow the installation instructions (press firmly on the adhesive for 10 secs, repeat 5 times). Otherwise it can fall off. See here.

After trying the Carbonio option (which failed) and not being satisfied with the tow hook solution look, I decided to go with a cleaner and more practical approach. I installed the factory license plate holder but used 3M double-sided tape to attach it securely to the bumper—no drilling required! To make it even lighter, I opted for a vinyl license plate, as shown below. This solution not only looks great but also minimizes weight. Honestly, I wish I had done this from the start!
Getting the Carbonio depends on whether or not you have adaptive cruise control.
If you have ACC then you must use the tape to attach which as indicated in above posts can fail. However if you don't have ACC then you attach it from below the car with a spring loaded attachment which does not come off.
I have the spring loaded attachment and the only downside is a slight loss of clearance.
Place I had ppf/ceramic placed magnets on inside of bumper and use a removable bracket mount. In MA, I need a front plate. As soon as I leave the state I remove it.

Just to be clear, this is technically illegal (unless you’re in CA and request the vinyl option from the DMV) and you can get a ticket for having a front plate that isn’t issued by the DMV. Having said that, why didn’t you put the vinyl plate directly on the bumper without the bracket? I did this on another car directly on PPF and it works great.

Illinois is similar - write a ticket for no front plate any time they can find the car parked. My simple solution was to attach two suction cups to the back of the front plate and suction it to the front of the bumper when I’m parked. The suction cups might not work if your car is ceramic coated. In that case (one of my later cars is), the other solution is to attach the front plate to a piece of wire and just hang it out of the frunk anytime I’m parked. Just flip it into the frunk when you’re driving. Doesn’t look fancy but it’s the easiest and cheapest solution.

Can the spring load still be mounted and just block that ACC? If so and it's a temp thing just to park at the lot I would do that. Or use the tow hook option.
I've used 911's to commute into NYC and was always fearful of trying to enter the camera system without a front plate. I've witnessed some pretty remarkable stops based on the lack of plate. I think any of the tow hook holders work well, if you're okay with the off center placement. It never bothers me personally.
I use the spring loaded Carbonio for when parked. Otherwise I remove it and drive without. I’ve been pulled over and just explained that I forgot to out it back on after cleaning the car.
I just pay the tickets on my Porsches, in Virginia it $ 85 or so. Last was was 2008 so I'm not too worried! The 911 was never designed for a USA -style front plate and it looks awful.
In CA it's a $10 fix it. I've received three so far in three years.
For the last 2 times on my GT4, I had photoshopped my number plate on the front and uploaded that photo (same photo 2 times) and just paid the $10 fix it ticket.
