Has anyone gotten this SOS error before? If so, then how did you resolve it?
This is the third time that I have taken it to my dealership now and this time I told them that I'm not picking it up unless it's fixed. It's been there for 5 days and counting now.
I had found another thread that someone said that it was the GPS antenna that needed to be replaced. I relayed that over to my SA, but she said that the master technician is reluctant to swap it out because if it ends up not fixing it, then they're on the hook for the bill (weird).
Three times, no fix, call PCNA and open a case. Believe Virginia is three times attempted, still same issue, you can compel PCNA to buy the car back. So the dealer should have some motivation to handle it at this point.. surely a buyback will cost them more than a GPS antenna.
I’ve had that fault on both my Gt3 and my GTS.
I think I had it two or three times eventually it just went away on its own. I haven’t seen it for a while.
Does this happen when you use the SOS button, or spontaneously? If you manually use the SOS button, does it work? In other words, who is making the call - you, or the car?

Found this post on the different SIMs that support the 992.1 (https://rennlist.com/forums/992/1198...ng-please.html). Guess the error you are seeing is for SIM A. Have you tried logging out and back into your PORSCHE ID?

Right, I started getting the error intermittently, took it to the dealership, they said it was fixed (don't know what they did), but a few days later it started happening again, so I took the car back. They replaced the GPS antenna, it never happened again, it's been 6 months since it was replaced

Actually, GPS antenna was replaced 8 months ago. I attached the work order, you could show this to the technician working on your car, maybe it might be helpful.
