Default Mobil 1 ESP X4 0W40

I'm getting ready to put another order with Mobil. As in the past, if anyone in the LA/Ventura area would like to take advantage of wholesale pricing on ESP X4 0W40 (or other grades), contact me offline.
Same with the oil filters and drain plugs.

Not in LA, but I'm curious how large off an order you have to make to qualify for wholesale pricing and how much of a benefit it really is over retail from e.g. FCPEuro if you don't mind sharing? (PM is fine)

I’d appreciate at least 2 cases at a time. 12 quarts.

For those who are not in LA.... You can order the Mobil 1 ESP X4 0W-40 oil from AutoZone for $6.64 per quart. Free Home delivery.

Comes with a STP Extended Life Oil Filter, that I change the specification on and use on my Volvo, as I prefer the Mahle Filter for my 992.

Ah the benefits of being a billion dollar company. It's a great sale price. Stock up while you can.

Just looked it up. It's $12 a quart on Autozone. If you do the 6 quarts, it's $47. Add tax and you are over $50.

I feel better now.

You need to use their "Special Deal" tab to get the $6.64 / quart price. That's $42.23 per case of 6 including 6% sales tax, and free shipping to your home.

I have purchases several cases as they run this special quite often.

This is the way to go. Works for my GTS 4.0L as well.

Thanks for the heads up! Just placed an order using this deal. It doesn't seem to want to let me 2x the order, do you just pay regular price for the other 3qts, or is there some trick to getting the deal twice?

EDIT: Disregard..... I figured it out. Just had to change the oil filter on the second order.

Yeah.....Ignore that. I can't post the documents because they are watermarked but I have the "Manufacturer Certificate" straight from Porsche. Document "MC, 1701 Overview of Approved Porsche C40 Engine Oils (38/23)" that applies to "All Porsche vehicles from MY 2021, for which Porsche C40 engine oils are allocated.". The only oils that are certified are "EXXONMOBIL Corporation Mobil 1 ESP x3 0W-40 0W-40 Worldwide 31.05.2025" and "EXXONMOBIL Corporation Mobil 1 ESP X4 0W-40 0W-40 Worldwide 31.05.2026". Hope that helps

Just look at the back of the Bottle for the Porsche C40 Approval, which is the spec for all 992s. The new ESP X4 has both the A40 & C40 Approval, so its also good for the 991.1 & .2 vehicles. My 2019 Targa 4GTS states to use C40 oil in the manual, yet I know Porsche back tracked and said the A40 was also "OK". So this new ESP X4 covers both!
