Some PCM Issues with shortcut buttons and account?
Has anyone encountered PCM constantly asking you to configure shortcut buttons (even after they're already configured). Ditto with the account login. Every so often, even after just parking for a night, its showing the login screen even though I have auto login set without needing a pin. Am I missing something or is this just buggy software.

Buggy software and implementation. I never log out and sometimes when I get into my car it’ll default to “Guest”. Eventually it’ll right itself, but it happens often.
Accidently realized this today but leaving it here in case anyone else has this issue
I have a shortcut set as home link and out of habit from previous home link setups, I pressed the button and held it for about a second. Apparently that is sometimes long enough to trigger the software to ask if you want to change the shortcut; so a quick down up press is sufficient and won't trigger the prompt.
Just saw this post and was going to say you were holding down the buttons for too long lol
Glad you figured it out yourself.
Yeah I wish they would set the "reset function" to like 5 seconds of holding.
