I think you're stuck with normal. I put my preferred settings in Individual and turn the **** full clockwise. OBTW, driving in normal till the temps come up isn't a bad idea. Then twist to your preferred setting.
So that's the main issue... I'm adjusting the settings in "Individual" mode (see photo above), but every time I restart the car, Individual mode has been set back to the default settings with no boxes checked. How do I get them to stick?
No matter what you do or how you configure any mode, "Normal" is always the default mode, every single time you start the car. Wish it was not so, but it is. I believe one or more of the aftermarket "tunes" allow you to get around this annoyance. However, changing the car's computer software (what tunes do) can often change a value in the computer than your automatic state emissions check will see and will fail the car. Something your Smog Technician can not get around. Even if you return the "tune" to the factory original before the emissions test, this all to often does not reset this value. The only "fix" at this point is to replace the computer. Not fun! Buyer beware, caveat emptor!
