Our metal bracket still works the same with the new box. The only differences their logo will be inward instead of outward

My alternator cover mounted controller that most people shat upon and came up with a million other ways to mount is going strong after more than a year installed. Not a single error code or problem. Works like a champ at all times.

See post 895. Problem unit was attached to alternator cover …….although uncertain what is causing problems. My original mounting location was alternator cover but moved to Flat6/Supreme suggested location to reduce heat soak and vibration on electronics in the unit. Have had no issues with my unit in either location. Note the new version also lacks attachment ears.

Installed Cargraphic ordered from Flat6 on 2024 GTS. I've only placed a few orders from @Flat6Motorsports , but every time they have been beyond helpful and fast shipping - thank you!

The open valves are more noticeable than I thought they would be and a nice third option to PSE closed/open. Install was easy enough, and a second pair of hands to gently pull wires more taught for cable ties beneath spoiler was great. Installed without ramps, which was a little tight but once situated all ok.

My only concern is the latest version of the Cargraphic (black box) came with version C non-invasive mount from Flat6. A nice add in to the purchase, but I am not confident in the tightness of the fit from the bracket, and would have preferred a solution that leveraged the 10mm oil fill hose bolt. As such I installed two cable ties on the mount; one around the non-invasive mount to the Cargraphic unit, and a second around the full unit and oil fill hose. Attached a pic of cable ties prior to reinstalling the engine cover (hence the filler caps off), along with image of version c mount.

My install

Do you really need to take off the aerokit wing? Also how do take off the wing. Thats the only thing stopping me from buying this controller.
Thanks

You don't HAVE to. But it can make things easier.

Search the thread I created for how to do it with aerokit wing.

I am considering this modification. If anyone is looking to get rid of their module that is fully functional and in excellent condition, reach out.

Just mounted mine on the passenger side as per the Kies YouTube video. Piece of cake and the niche almost seems made for it. No need for brackets , zip ties, new parts etc.

Just installed this on a '21 C2S...knock wood...so far so good. It makes a difference and is an easy mod. For those inexperienced with sports cars and exhaust systems, I recommend you try this first before other changes. The ability to revert to stock on the fly is a nice feature. My wife loves going for rides in this car but I suspect she is not going to tolerate the car with the valves 100% open. So far, the one issue I have is I cannot get HomeLink to work. I can add each button to a profile but HomeLink does not change to the specific profile, it does nothing when the profile is selected.

On the homelink screen try holding your finger on the screen for about the count of three on the profile name you have selected. What you report is not that uncommon and what I experienced until I realized you must hold your finger on the screen rather than just "tap" or push it. Mine works perfectly when I press and hold; hope it works for you.

My homelink programming is intermittent at times, even with longer button presses. I just deleted the profiles and reprogrammed and working like new again. But carry the fob for back up and sometimes have to use.

Is a nice upgrade. Ready for some cooler fall weather with windows down, roof open, and a little extra sound!

Does anyone have detailed photos of the install using the latest plastic bracket? Any thoughts on it's stability if mounted without zip ties?
