That’s pretty dramatic. They make zip ties with eyelets on them.

It’s not SupremePower’s fault if Cargraphic decided to change the outer casing to include or not include mounting “ears”. As long as it opens and closes the exhaust valves as it’s supposed to, I’m a happy camper! Thanks again @SupremePower

Just got mine. So, where is the best spot to either stick it on with tape or attach with zip ties? The bracket that came with is pretty short, not sure how this bracket helps and would secure to zip ties. Or simple stick the bracket on the tape, reinforce with zip ties and screw it on the location in the video for the unit with ears?

It's the 100 pack, in case you really want it secure.

LOL! That'd add too much weight.

I don't see this or feel it to be drama; It's a specific want. I checked by phone that their controller would come with the custom bolt on mount and they said it would. A zip-tied application just strikes me as un-Porsche and un-tidy, but that's me. I realize it would still be perfectly functional that way.

Funny thing is that after I wrote that drama post the unit showed up this afternoon....yup, without the bolt-on mounting option. Funny thing is Supreme, true to their word, included the custom mount part that now has no use. To their credit, service was excelent over the phone and the unit actually arrived early. I don't hold them in contempt at all because it is out of their control, but at the same time I ain't happy. Perhaps I'll forget about this when I hear the difference.

...anyone want a free custom mount?

I just got my kit from Supreme as well. Thank you guys!

I don't mind the zip ties, but am not clear on how to install it. I watched
, but their version appears to have a mounting bracket that can go into a bolt that's already in the car. With this version, where does the box get zip tied to?

shrimp, are you able to advise on this since you seem to have successfully installed it with zip ties?

@Arroqueno yes, that is the alternator cover. And I looped two zip ties around it. It’s really easy to get to, and do.

Thanks! I appreciate you responding. Looks super simple and I'm excited to get this installed. Were you able to get to the plugs on the underside of the car without using a lift?

We did it without a lift. However my head is so large because of my ego from owning a GTS that an S owner @22992 actually crawled down there for me to do the plugs.

Here’s how easy it is to zip tie the box.

Damn, I wish you had posted earlier.
I just spent $17.95 + shipping for the mount from Flat 6.
It attaches to the 10mm bolt on the oil fill neck. Before learning about this mount, I was just gonna be buying a mending bracket from Home Depot for $2.75
