Got pics of those bolts and trim that needs to come off to remove the aero wing? Is it just the wing that needs to come off (ie, the top half) or the entire deck lid piece?

Trim pieces are the curved pieces on the outboard edges of the wing, covering up the bolts referenced above

I’ll be getting mine today. Delayed by FedEx yesterday. I would think you could get to everything from underneath. When I swapped out my exhaust I was able to unclip the plug for the valves no problem.

Did it come with instructions? What purekoryo said makes sense to me. Shouldn't everything be able to be installed from underneath?

yes, you can install everything underneath if you want to. I want the controller in the engine bay, but you can stick it anywhere. I just got
done removing the factory connections, you can do that underneath and no jack is required.
no instructions with the unit.Instructions are online. There are no specific aerokit instructions in writing or online

I chose to mount mine on the alternator cover. Drilled 2 1/4” holes. Routed zip ties around the mounting holes and snug up on the back side. Thought about bolts, but this is easier

Yea, I was wondering about heat and rain (not that I intend to drive in the rain, but ya never know). On the Cayman, I mounted it inside the cabin under carpet and ran wires to the engine bay. Is that not possible on a 911?

heat is the enemy of electronics....

I’m rollin. Total time working about an hour being very careful. Being sure to zip tie the cord out of the way and routing to avoid belts etc took the most time. 2nd time install probably 30mins.

Sound/vid clips would be nice too. Especially low RPM stuff since that's where we'll hear the biggest difference. Start-up, and sounds from outside the car. I think that's where it needed improvement.

I’ll try to get some videos later on, but I did take it for a ride and…well, it’s amazing. From idle to 4K if you floor it you get the same experience as fling from 5-7k. It was always fun for me, but this is the missing piece of the puzzle for the Carrera line. Exhaust really changes things. I get a little more turbo sounds, slightly more vibration and a lot more noise. 2 thumbs up, totally worth the money and highly recommend.
