Stopped by a Porsche Restoration Challenge event this afternoon in Westfield, Indiana. Fewer cars than I had expected, but a few really nice ones, for sure. Particularly, liked/coveted this RS America.
Shame I missed you. I had my 88 Carrera in the preservation area and drove my TGT there.
Spent the day racing my 992.2 base vs. my 992.2 4GTS on a drag strip, for science.
Just curious - why do you have 2 or more of less the same car. Sure, the one is a GTS, but they are the same color, etc. When do you drive one vs the other?

The real question is, why do I also have a 992.2 T?
Quick version: loved the base so much I wanted the exact same thing - but upgraded to 11. So I bought the 4GTS. Very different driving characteristics than the base, and while technically better, not as "tossable" as the base. I love the base, and would miss aspects of it. So I added the T as a base that's much different in color and some equipment.
I need to sell the 992.2 base, but have to get the PPF pulled and a polish. The PPF did its job well, and so it will have freshly removed shrink-wrap for the next owner.
