have you seen the stripes in person? Is it embroidered in the top? In otherwords if I don’t like it, can it be removed.

I saw a Turbo S with the stripes on the cloth top at my dealer. If I recall, it was less 'embroidered' and more like woven into or similar effect.

Asking the people with a lot of experience purchasing these vehicles... Would you prefer to get a MY23 C GTS if given the option, instead of continuing with an order for a MY22 C GTS? I have this dilemma! Only thing titling the balance towards changing to the MY23 is that build entered for the order has an Aerokit that has not been kicked out of the system. We have tried that for the MY22 and it kicks it out right away... If I can get the Aerokit, I wouldn't mind paying the $5,900 MSRP jump... Thoughts? I need a shot of whiskey...

If you want the aerokit, go with whichever year it’s not being kicked back.

Whiskey helps lol. IMO, if you can get the Aerokit then definitely pull the trigger on the MY23!

For me aerokit was important for my build. For 2022 model, I was able to get it.

you can always get an aftermarket aerokit added too. But the extra $$ for 2023 does pinch a little. Do it if it is that important..

Even if it’s $6k more, it’s all on the build sheet and installed and painted at the factory. I think there’s value to that. Especially 30 years from now when you sell it for $300k.

I do wonder why certain MY22 cars were allowed the Aerokit and others weren't? For instance, I was fortunate enough to have it accepted and locked on my build, but others weren't in the UK either.

How does it work? Is it just a lucky dip or do they take other things into consideration, eg the rest of the spec on the car? It was a big thing for me as well, so I thank my lucky stars it was accepted on my build.

Thank you @shrimp money , @jack_carls0n and @ARC944 for your insights.... You are right, I will pull the trigger on the MY23 and get the Aerokit from the factory! Hoping it does not change from now until the order is locked in.

If I get to sell it for $300k down the road, that would buy me a lot of whiskey

Figured I'll make my contribution to this thread...

While I was dithering on interior/exterior colors, saw this combination by chance in person - in the parking lot of a liquor store 1500 miles from home! Wouldn't have naturally occurred to me, but it became the combination I couldn't beat.

Got an allocation for a GTS about a month ago, build is scheduled for July. Wanted the Aerokit, but not available. Ah well, maybe the next one :-)

It's stitched in from what I can tell. It's surprisingly subtle though; both the hood stripes and the stripes in the top; very subtle on black.

my GTS cab just arrived and ordered with the stripes. The stripes can’t be removed from the top as it looks as the fabric itself is a different color. I really do like the look of it in person (but guess i would say that having ordered it ….)

Allocation came to me last week. cold call from a dealer I had touched base with once in January, I am a first time buyer of any Porsche ..taken completely off guard by this. I did get MSRP, had to agree to some Xpel done by a grade A shop, and some financing. Very happy with their willingness to take the ADM off the table and work with me . The experience has been stellar.

struggled between gentian and chalk like so many others. I do like the black wheels with the red calipers on the gentian and its a louder color suited for a GTS in my mind, seeing how my wheel choices are limited it helped seal the deal...don't care for all the space the center locks leave, I need more substance to the wheel, so Spyder wheels it is.
interior was a struggle as well, went safe ... black w/ chalk stiching because I can't deal with a non black dash, and the light cream interior is a disaster waiting to happen for me and the kids... the leather inlays give me some silver trim to lighten it up a touch, splash of red on the tach and sunroof help the interior.... 930 leather package and crests on the headrest to give me a little texture and body to the seats.
LED matrix headlights, I am simply going to take a chance and see if they ever get activated.
body color side skirts look sharp so why not?
the other things are no brainers the premium package, extended range tank, heated wheel, ventilated seats...
All the extra performance options and FAL are cool but I will never get the real benefit from them.
track your dream says sept build and 10/22 delivery.. but I know how much that can change...
