JCZ5- How do you plan to connect the charger? The Porsche plan via the lighter port seems spotty at best.
I hardwired it to my 718 and plan to do the same with my 992. See video below from obsessed garage. I am not DIY inclined, but was able to do this fairly easily.
As a fellow GT350 owner, my condolences. I was going to sell mine to fund part of the Porsche, but I’ve changed my mind because I love mine too much. I extended the warranty instead and broke the bad news to my S2000.
Problem with Porsche buying Williams is that Porsche wants to control the team even though the chassis and aerodynamics will still be done in England.
Williams are happy to go 50/50 but no more. Porsche do not want nor do they have the expertise to do the chassis/aero.
This is also why neither Red Bull nor McLaren would go with them but it would seem those two teams are considering a tie up with Audi who also want to get into F1 but are not so demanding about overall control.
Remember the chassis/aero in F1 are what really make the difference, which is why Merc lost out so badly in 2022, they had a good engine but got the chassis/aero wrong.
Mid March seems to be when the T arrivals build up to steady flow. I've got a 3/23/23 arrival. Fingers crossed.
Has anyone thought about battery chargers for the lithium batteries? Their are several threads around the forum on the topic and even the Porsche branded chargers present some "challenges". Dead lithium batteries are no fun and expensive. I wonder how Porsche keeps them maintained during the shipping process? Some folks report these going dead in under two weeks of sitting.

I haven't seen one single word to this effect, that was the RBR problem, the Williams tie-in is only a rumor nothing more. James Vowles coming over from MBZ to Williams may be a sign of Porsche's desire to hire a top-flight man to run the team, who knows.
Quite frankly I don’t know why Porsche don’t go the whole hog and build the entire car and call it a Porsche rather than a Williams Porsche or something??
They have wind tunnels and can hire the best aerodynamicists, plus they’re swimming in cash these days.
Weird?!

DON'T RUB IT IN! I'm still, at this very moment, wondering if I can cancel the ad and keep it. Maybe it won't reach the reserve! LOL

I'm thinking of going with this Battery Tender (assuming it's the right one). I've always had good experiences with Battery Tender Jr.'s in the past, I have many extension cables, and also like the smaller plugs.
THANKS!

The Porsche charger (rebranded CTEK..standard in the auto industry.) has a Li-On mode...is there something wrong with using the Porsche charger?
