992 Tuning Question

992 Tuning Question
Have had my 2020 C2S since January. What are you guys using as a tune? Something easy that's not a flash but an easy install/uninstall solution. Thanks

Flash is easy, plug into OBDII and recalibrate, takes about 20 min.
Alternative is piggy back which involves removing the rear bumper and some components to get the the pressure sensors to install.

Burger Motorsports for one, has a JB4 piggyback tune ... $800ish
I've had one on an M5 that was a 20 min initial install and 10 min subsequent uninstall / reinstall. I hear the 992 is a royal PITA. I'll let a few braver, more mechanically capable souls sort this one out before I give it a try.
No desire to remove the bumper.

Well are you looking for flash or no? There is no handheld flash at the moment - you need to send the ECU for a bench flash. Unless you have a local tuner that can do it for you, it’s usually a non-starter for most.
There are a couple piggies that require running cables from the engine to the footwell area.

no free lunch. Nothing is risk free. That said, better than an ECU flash which is indisputable

I generally lean towards piggies since they're easier to remove for warranty related concerns. But with the 911 not so much. Tough choice. I've had a piggy on my Cayenne for about 5 years now and no issues, knock on wood.

We've got about 30-40 of the 992 JB4 units out in circulation. No need to remove the bumper for the 992, easy install if you have small hands
Great gains on maps 1/2 with regular pump gas and no other mods. If you have some e85 mix or higher octane fuels with some mods, you can take advantage of the higher boost profile maps for bigger gains.
JB4 comes PNP, with preloaded maps ready to roll. Add the optional Bluetooth kit and you can change maps on the fly, data log, or view the car parameters in real time right off your phone or tablet device.

it was very noticeable - to the point of easily overwhelming that car’s braking ability and this driver’s skills. It’s just boost and you can never have too much of it ... until you do!
unfortunately (or fortunately), I have large hands ...

1.) Since you have described the 992 install as easy with small hands, can you further elaborate and/or link to proper instructions?
2.) Are you aware rather the product page for 992 JB4 has instructions associated with the 991 and 991.2 Turbo S. The 992 is nothing similar to the 991/991.2 Turbo S and the instructions are essentially useless.
3.) Are you able to get any of 30-40 units out in circulation to chime in? 30-40 is a pretty huge spread (25% variance) and seems a bit puffery.
