That would be worth the extra $$. I can't believe they didn't offer this before. I wonder if all 2021 911's will get it? The turbo is listed as a 2021 model year car.

We optioned it on our Cayenne Turbo. My wife and daughter love it. It does give a richer appearance inside, although Porsche's limitation on color choices is stupid and frankly mystifying. Like the 992, the Cayenne gets a "range" of seven colors, two of which are shades of white (cold and warm). The others are orange; blue; turquoise; lime green; red. Only three of those colors look even remotely good in the interior outside of white -- blue, turquoise and red.
Buy a Benz or BMW, and you get a basically unlimited palette, including violet -- which would look damned good in any of these cars.
Nonetheless, we'll option it on our 992. The interior is a little plain without it, and the cost is one of those $500 options that makes you say to yourself, "Hmmm. A $500 Porsche option. What a bargain. I can't NOT buy that!"

Do we know for a fact that the LEDs in the Carreras are white only and not multi color? Again, Wouldn’t surprise me at all if part #s are the same and software could add the feature.

We don’t know for sure. My comment was based on the current/enabled functionality as sold. I hope the hardware is the same and it can be enabled via software. We will also have to wait to see if it’s offered for 2021 Carrera, or only the Turbo.

I have the multi colored lighting on my C2s with the Premium package. Love the blue at night

I was pretty excited about this option. After a few drives at night, I turned it off or very low. Not my cup of tea.

So what is the scoop on this option for 2022?
