I am located on Florida west coast, and just learned today that my vehicle is delayed in Jacksonville since Dec 9 and will not be delivered until week of Jan 10th. I called PCNA and they confirmed that car was included in a "campaign" for software re-program for center console. Interested to know if anyone has taken delivery after reprogram and/or if they have any further details on what the reprogramming was meant to correct. Interesting to note that the dealer had absolutely no information on this issue nor the expected delivery date. Car was a Nov build.
Took delivery after the update. The official explanation is a software update to the center console functionality. Doesn't look like Porsche told the dealers anything else. I've known the service manager personally for 10 years so he'd tell me if he know.
