Default Camo Porsche Testing

Stumbled across a gaggle of Porsche test vehicles with Georgia plates at my hotel in Mammoth Mountain, CA. Saw one pulling in. A bunch of spaces reserved for "Kunkel". Do I be a dick and lift the covers? I think they are the 992 Turbos.

And the covers are locked so I won't be lifting anything.

I feel like a stalker. I checked this morning to see if they were departing but I think they are sleeping off the hangover. I was hoping to see a manual but all the ones not covered up had the nubbin.

Dude! What is wrong with you? Of course take a peek. In fact, totally pull off the covers and take pictures....then post on RL.

If you need some liquid courage, then hit the bar.

It's easy.

Edit: Ok...just saw they are locked so disregard above. Just camp out all night in front of them and then take video as they leave. I'd do it for you.

They are back on the road anyways. I missed their departure. Must of been 20 of them in the hotel. All german. I gave a few guten morgens around the elevators and tried to pry some info but no dice. A few took an interest in my car which was nice.

Default Similar exhaust and rear...Could the Blue Targa and this White coupe be base models?

Targa and this White 992, could be the base models.

That’s my picture from January! I chatted briefly with the German engineers and asked if I could take some pictures... they were very kind and said they were sorry the car was so dirty. By then the “S” models had been released so the only visible difference was the exhaust tips, which has been assumed by this and other sightings to be the base Carrera. This car had PDK...

Those exhaust tips are base model, all the way. 997 had them too.
