Default “992 Turbo will probably have 600+ hp”

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.car...bo-992-future/

considering the new M5, E63, S63 etc. all have 600+ hp and all 911s are now turbo, I’d say that the “992 Turbo” will most definitely have 600+ hp.

I've been told from a pretty good source that the 992 TTS will have 650PS and the 992 Turbo circa 600PS.

You may very well be right, but my grapevine tells me different numbers.

chris’s info is almost always correct. Taffy, those Turbo numbers you posted are too high.

Porsche never increases turbo power that quickly. Just look at the history of the 997 and 991 turbos. Porsche competes on the overall car, not just basic hp numbers, and has followed this pattern for 40 years. If some random website/dealership guy says otherwise, they’re just ignorant

I agree with everything you've said and as you quite correctly point out Chris's sources are pretty much infallible..It seems i've been seriously misled by my dealership..

TT should be around 560 hp...If they are going to a 4.0 liter TT maybe a shade higher.

If the 992 TT goes to 580 hp...wow, they might have to take my money.

The last thing that crossed my mind when I jumped on a 991.2 TTS is "fukc, I wish this had more horsepower."

Exactly. I had a TTS for two days at Portimao and at no time did I want more power. Rather, I kept saying to myself, if only this thing weighed 100 kegs less! As the GT3 RSs all disappeared into the distance.

Did the RS's disappear in front of you or behind you in your TT's?

I think at speed they're actually pretty close.
