I just wanted to share that yesterday I placed a deposit with my dealer on a 992 GT3! I'm 3rd on the order list! I'm super pumped. Currently daily driving a M3 CS, definitely looking forward to this upgrade. I had debated getting the 992 Turbo, my logic said Turbo because this will be my DD, but my emotions and heart said GT3. I've ALWAYS loved the GT cars and specifically the GT3. I new that if I followed logic and got the Turbo I wouldn't truly be happy with that decision. Anyhow, just wanted to share the good news!

I did the same thing about 6 weeks ago with two dealerships. It's going to be a long wait. Maybe 2 years.

I am on the list in FL since october2018. Good move as its gonna be a sick car. Until them my carrera T will work. Tempted to trade out on a 992s when manual is available. Not sure as less then 1000 Ts in total into the US for 18&19. Currently have 7k on a 2019 custom order. Happy with full akrapovic pipe, cats & carbon valance. Manual only GT3 for me

Any facts about what exactly the engine be? 9A1 based or 9A2EVO based one?

No one knows yet. It's all speculation. Probably the 991.2 GT3RS engine making 520HP.

991.1 released fall 2011 - GT3 models came as 2014 MY - released late 2013 I think. So, 2 year gap - I'd guess 2021 MY

I know it probably doesn't mean anything, but my signed purchase order for my 992 GT3 states MY 2021.
