Let’s hear about the AC in the 992
What’s the hottest temperature you’ve run it in, and how did it do? How’s the air volume from the vents? Is the air cold? How do the ventilated seats work?

based on that ignorant comment i doubt he has a 992 and he probably doesn't even have a 991.
I don't have a 992, but in my 991 I can turn off all the dashboard vents on a 90 degree fahrenheit day and still have adequate cooling including to the upper body. All Porsche's are designed with vents on the top of the dash which blow air towards the passengers. These vents are more effective than even the main vents. In the 992, these dash top vents are directionally adjustable which makes them even more effective.

I live in Spain and we have had some hot days since i picked the car (about 30ºC) and the AC works well in the medium setup (you have an stronger air flow option in the menu).
The ventilated seats are awesome (much more noticeable than the same system in Mercedes) they are a little bit noisy in the stronger position but it makes the ride very confortable, specially in hot days.

Colder air flow downward, btw.
It doesnt make any sense to have AC vents in lower part of the console blowing to your legs instead your face if that makes me ignorant.

Why dont we wait for someone who actually has 992 to tell us? All I see is that the AC vents are in very different locations in 992 vs 991.

992 C2S, 34C sunshine and no AC issues at all. Best AC I’ve had in any 911. The cooled seats are noisy but great....But I only have the fancy seats because the base Sport Seats + weren’t yet on the list - but turned out to be a great choice for a daily car. I’d have those again.

Bumping this thread for any later experiences, even anecdotally, since June. Anyone?

I don’t think it’s a bad question at all, particularly for those of us that routinely encounter 100F+ / 40C+ summertime temperatures. Example: my wife’s old jag had crap ac and she wouldn’t drive it much in August... her X5 is a lot better and the ‘happy wife happy life’ adage proves its value once again

In my experience A/C in a 911 has coped well with warm climates for years. The highest temp I have seen in one of mine was 55c (131f) back when we had a run of very hot days in Australia, and that was a black/black 997.1. Granted that was heat sink on a dark road but we had 40c (105f) ambient for over a week that time. Either way, the A/C cooled the car down fine.
Remember theses are relatively small cars internally. Even with the large back windows the volume they need to deal with is not huge.

Man it would shock me if it had bad AC. I live in the SouthEast and my 991.2 GT3 is freezing.
