Can I put an order in for a 992 GT3 yet?

Learn from the 991.2 overstock. Porsche is going to make as many GT3s as the market demands. It is now the bottom of the GT3 range. They have other range toppers for use of their "special customers" for marketing glow.

Last month, my local dealer had 10 pre-owned 991 GT3s in stock, some of which had less than 1K miles. Even if you check the nationwide pre-owned locator, you'll find quite a few and that's just Porsche dealers. My opinion is unless you have to have a brand new GT3 with specific options, you'll probably be able to have your pic of a pre-owned one without having to overpay.

You're a few years out my good sir...lets slow down a bit. Any dealer who promises you a GT car at this point is just hoping to lock you down...absolutely no word on anything past S/4S right now and we've got quite a few trim levels to go before we see anything GT for 992. Enjoy the current cars.

I'm 100% sure that 992 GT3 deposits have already been put down at dealerships. You should get ahead while you can and ONLY PAY MSRP (if you have to and you really really want the car, I'd probably pay a max of 10K over)

One for my previous dealer in PA who I bought two other Porches from and had a fantastic relationship with. The other at my local dealership here in NOLA - I don't even have a relationship with those folks yet but working on it.
I hope one works out. Asking for MSRP + European Delivery.

A search of Autotrader for 2018-2019 models reveals 180 available cars. Some private Sellers. I just picked one up, 2018 GT3 with 800 miles for $2k under MSRP. I just wanted leather interior, and PCCB, front axle lift, Bose, PDK. Car is fully wrapped already. There are cars out there!

I'm on two dealer lists with money down on a 992 GT3. I'm basically hedging my odds to get one because I just moved.

ED is the kicker, they know you’re less likely to walk if you don’t get MSRP compared to many GT3 buyers.

Since the release of the 991 the GT3 and indeed the GT3RS have become mass market cars as opposed to near limited run specials. There are loads of 991.1 and 991.2 GT cars on the second hand market.
Get yourself on a list with a reputable dealer and you will be treated fairly and well. The repeat buyers and long term buyers are already locked in with dealers. Porsche will be pumping these out like there is no tomorrow - so be prepared to accept reasonable depreciation (at least thats whats happened in my market with 991 GT cars of all stripes).

Not sure I'd say mass market, like a 9114S or a 911S. My winged PDK is one of about 935 in the U.S. To me that's fairly low volume.
