In certain colors, I don't like the 992 interior at all. Truffle brown, black/bourdeaux it looks great to me. Different strokes of course. I still don't like the tach. It needs a Turbo logo on it. (Or GT3)

In slate grey, especially with chalk stitching, and slate grey/chalk leather combo, it looks amazingly upscale.

All the Alcantara haters will come out of the woodwork. If cared for properly and not beaten up by kids, cats, dogs, and unsupervised animals, Alcantara is easy to clean and grippy as Hell. Also cooler in summer and warmer in winter.

If it's good enough for Lamborghini it's good enough for me.

It’s good enough for me. I love Alcantara. You don’t even need to clean it, really. Just a wipe down with a damp microfiber cloth and it’s back to new. I have had alcantara steering wheels and shift ****/boots for the last few cars. My GTS has the full leather/alcantara interior and I absolutely love it.

A decade ago it was Cayennes. And I believe before that Boxsters.
They are not planning to make less 911's but their growth has come from non 911 models.
It's ok for me as they all pay for new 911 development.

Yes, it will be nearly 100 Hp less, but broader torque band, higher redline, lighter weight, wider track, wider rear wheels, active aero, 8 speed PDK, software refinement, etc that the 991.2 TT S. Just what is needed to be fast on a track. Nearly as fast as the 991.2 TT S.
But the GTS may not be as quick in everyday driving on real world roads where the TT S' huge torque combined with its AWD grip should prevail in near straight line contests
Extrapolating from the differences in established Nordschleife hot lap times, I'm going to guess around 1:19 for the 992 GTS vs 1:17 for the 991.2 TT S. Pretty close.
And we could say the same thing for the 992 C2S with X51 PowerKit and all the performance options, if Porsche chooses to offer the 992 C2S like that.
