I'm hoping that "approximately" means this fall.

Did you see that 7 speed manual is on the configurator now? Looks like released this evening.

I don't see it. Are you the US site or another?

I'm so sorry. I made a mistake. I was looking at the new Coupe on the site last night, clicked over to the 911 and clicked on the 991 and "performance". I saw it and got excited not realizing that I clicked not he wrong link. I'm sorry.

Oh, no problem. An honest mistake. I wonder if Porsche is delaying the release just so they can eventually drop it altogether and cite the lack of demand: "We will continue to offer the manual for as long as there is demand; however, in 2019 we did not sell even one 992s with a manual!" :-)

Precisely, please see my original post.
To a certain extent it's a self fulfilling prophecy. The auto manufacturers, including Porsche, build fewer and fewer MT cars, so no MTs are available for sale, and then quote that as proof that nobody wants a manual. Yet when I dare to show up at a dealer and try to negotiate on a rare duck MT, they want to charge a premium for the MT!

Not too strong at all, Porsche did wonders with the 7MT over the course of the 991's generational life, and the setup in the Carrera T is the pinnacle. And I'm a GT3 6MT owner saying that. The S2000 tranny may be very nice but we don't have that option...though I can't say I've ever been much of a Honda guy.

I spent some time rowing a 915 tranny this weekend and I have to admit that when I drove my T afterwards it did in fact feel phenomenal!

Looks like September production for C2 MT.

I'll hoping to order a 992 MT cab 4/4s and take euro delivery by spring 2020, when is the best time to pay my dealer a visit? :)

thanks for the input

last time when i ordered my 991.2 in Apr 2016, my delivery date in Stuttgart was Aug 30, 2016, I guess it depends on different factors but it can range anything from 2-4 months and Euro delivery will take longer as you have to first wait for production allocation PLUS a spot for euro delivery, for all I know I think my car finished production in mid-late July 2016 and sat there for more than a month for an available Euro delivery date which was on Aug 30!
