Unconfirmed rumors have said it should be available for order around April/May with deliveries in the Aug/Sept timeframe. But that information is a bit old and I don't believe there's been any official new information up to this point.

What the base will be missing compared to S?
Probably RWS, 20/21 wheels, less PS. What else?

.2 base also doesnt have limited slip diff, no pdcc option, and has longer gear ratios. Not sure what differences will carry over to the 992. You should be able to option the 21/20 wheels.

Will still be a fantasticly competent all around sports/GT car, likely performing better in most ways than the previous generation S, just as the 991.2 did.

Now that they're turbo, I see a strong argument for carrera over S. as they're both 3.0 the base model has less boost. That's possibly why T is well liked.

Not the same with the 718 cars as there is a 25% displacement bump with the S.
