Did anyone actually receive a 992 yet? Any pics?
Any real world 992 pics yet? Anyone receive one yet?
|
Not in the USA yet.
|
I believe end of next month, we should start seeing it.
|
I think the first U.S. production dates are MARCH. Does anyone have a build date before 3/15? |
Deliveries start in March. Pietrostone will receive his mid March. I will receive mine on April 5th in Zurich, Switzerland. US deliveries not before May. |
USA deliveries are a long way off still.
I spent last week in the car for a few days at Thermal and in the surrounding hills. The car drives incredibly well and is a lot more sure-footed vs the current 991 especially on track. The brake pedal, steering, suspension have all seen tweaks and Porsche has totally crushed it out of the park. It's astonishingly good to drive. |
No customer cars here yet but dealers will have "open doors" on March 16th.

Having driven the 992 do you believe the RAS is still as essential or more of a 'nice to have'. ? |

I found the RAS a 'must have' when i ordered my 991.2GTS when i drove both with and without it on track. On the new 992 i've ordered i have left it off (still changeable) as i suspect that Porsche have got it 'right' straight out of the box..I base this premise on having a much wider front track and a engine mounts placed 8'' more forward.
