I ordered in early December in Germany with expected building date 15th of March / pick up in Zuffenhausen one or two weeks later. This was confirmed about 4 weeks ago again. I haven’t heard about any deviations from that yet. Will ask again next week

Third week of April delivery here in the UK for a mid-March build. Hasn't changed (fingers crossed it stays that way....).

Very cool! Compliments

So reading your previous posts looks like Porsche is delivering 992 in time, no delay at all. Correct?

Very cool for you, guys!!!

My should have been also arriving these days with delivery middle of March!

a big shame, what the general importer here in Austria is fu... up with the deliveries. Seems that lots of other dealers here in Austria also will get only pre-ordered demo-cars in March...

Talking First Post - First Porsche

I have wanted a 911 in Guards Red since I was a kid over three decades ago but even when I could finally afford one felt it was an unnecessary extravagance. A few months back had a major accident in my wife's 6 day old Tesla S 100D and walked away without a scratch and $30k of damage to the car (hit a large deer at 80mph at night on a 6 lane highway). Took stock of my life and the close call and decided life might be too short to put off dreams. Test drove 14 different new and CPO 911s (997, 991.1, 991.2 in base Carrera, S, 4S and Cab 4S, and in 7MT and PDK versions) across 4 dealerships in PA and NJ over the last 2 months. Decided I really liked the new 992 styling and love the interior (I am a technophile) so put down a deposit a few weeks ago. The dealership I chose was the one that did by far the best job of enthralling me with the brand and the vehicles and gave me lots of seat time. It will be a 10k-15k miles per year daily driver and unlikely to see a track.

Then I told my wife. Surprisingly we are still married. I got her to take a test drive and meet the wonderful people at the dealership (true aficionados). She loves the car now (she has always hated the Porsche 911 looks and image: 'it looks like a frog', 'driven by fat old people (like me) to impress others', etc). She now understands it is not about how it makes you look but rather how it makes you feel - even at slow speeds. She started adding stuff to my build (MY build!) but it is all good - mostly safety and convenience stuff. Got to V200 earlier last week and hope to pick up car in July (it is a launch edition vehicle S02 but seems to be taking a while for US delivery and potential regulatory/certification delays). Wish me luck - it will be replacing my 1999 Mazda Miata 5MT in the garage - possibly the biggest upgrade ever in this forum.

Based on the feedback I read here, no delays in Germany, Italia, Switzerland and UK.
Obviously only limited supply & delays here in Austria...

anyone else from AT here around who got an order outstaning with or wo delay?

Congrats. My first Porsche (944) and my first two 911s were Guards. I'm leaning that way for my 992. Which dealer did you end up buying from?

I’m in a similar boat. Thinking about trading in my M3 for a 911, but don’t know anything about Porsche. I know some models can’t even be bought at MSRP, but can the regular 911s (Carreras) be discounted, and what’s a good discount? Thanks in advance.

Thanks in advance.
