oh wow that bump is very noticeable, I'm surprised given the wider front and rear that it would show this much. It must be the new design of the taillights that doesn't help.

Yeah, I was surprised, too. I thought this design would yield a sleeker back end but it seems to accentuate a bulbous hump. Maybe it looks better in person.

I don't mind the new 992 coupe. However, with the cab, it's almost like they tried to pull off the look of your exotic spyders (e.g., 458 or huracan) which I like, but didn't realize how out of proportion the rear would look.....

I must be a *** man. I spent all afternoon on the configurator and will be ordering in the next few days!
PS- if anyone knows a great dealer/ salesman, PM me. My local dealer in Bellevue isn't great.

Send me a PM...several us here on Rennlist have used the same SA for ordering 991.2s and we were all happy with the discounts, and he is doing the same for those that want 992s.

I was firmly set on keeping my 991.2 GTS but that *** on the cab is the bomb! It's all in, seriously pausing about my plans. Can't wait to see it in person!

The perspective on the photo of the rear doesn't help its case. Various 991 cab images indicate that the proportions aren't wildly different, and it would likely look much better from a slightly lower vantage point.

My only complaint is the grill opening looks to be a bit short vertically. Darker colors will mask it a bit, but the strip above the grill makes the grill look like a lip-hugging mustache.

I still cannot get over the 3rd brake light location, regardless of the model.
