It wouldn't. The added mass of the hybrid system would ensure that.

Dunno, if they will make the high-performance Taycan named Taycan Turbo though, since doesn't even use gas. If they want to keep their tradition, Porsche will name it Taycan Turbo, but who knows. If Porsche really wants to signal it is a new segment for them, maybe they won't call it turbo and come up with something new instead.

From a Porsche guy at an event last summer; expect something along the lines of an electric assist Turbo, thus pulling in the torque curve a bit more i.e. even less lag and almost instantaneous kick. Would be a monster and take away the edge performance EV's have off the line.

Provided the rubber is up to the task.
