992 has twin turbos? What is the turbo going to have?
Sorry spent an hour reading but could not find an answer. So if the "normal aspirated" 911 has twin turbos what are they going to do with the "Turbo" or will there not be one?

All turbo 99x cars have twin turbos. The last normally-aspirated, non-GT 911 was the 991.1 GTS if I'm not mistaken. Certainly very confusing to new customers who are looking into the lineup for the first time.
992TT will be the same as the 991.2, I imagine, carrying over the current 3.8L engine. Evidently they sell enough big-'T' Turbos to justify continued production of the 3.8 block for that model alone.

Just kidding... 911 Turbo also has two turbos but a larger displacement engine.

Normally (naturally) aspirated engines have no turbos. The 991.1 Carreras were the last of the NA engines in the 911 Carrera line. If you want an NA engine in a new 911 now, it will have to be a GT car. All of the 911s that have forced induction (turbo chargers) have twin turbos. That includes the 991.2 Carrera, the 992 Carrera and the "real" turbos (the ones with the lower case "t" and with the wing on the back).

What they said.....but the real question is....
When the 911 goes all electric, will they still have a Turbo model trim? LOL.
Both the Base Macan and 911 have Turbos but do not have the name "turbo" in their model designation. However, there is an actual Model trim with the name Turbo for both the 911 and Macan. It gets confusing.

Maybe twin turbo hybrid near 680 hp.....current TTS is at 580 hp.......553 lbs ft. torque........they could create a monster but they will watch not to eclipse the 2RS......

agree will be a monster. But it could eclipse the 2RS. They need to separate the TT from the rest of the pack.
