993 is probably the best 911 in history and prices confirm that (reason why some 992 parts remember at reviewer as 993...hood, ***?!?!)
My opinion, remember my opinion, is that 991 now win hands down because today a lot of people have it from new or used...
Give me some months/years and I think this poll will be different.
992 is a better 991.2 that I have but new is new.
996/997 now just meanings what I'm saying.
But hey it's normal... It's same history every 8 years 😀

Who cares if 991 wins or not,
is 993 heavily beating the 992 that should open your eyes
although you can keep believing is all a 993 owners cospiracy
anyway nothing i all bad, the 992 crazy design heavy package meh engine is pushing me seriously to considere a Panamera, like it or not at least is in his own class

993 was the most developed of the air cooled era and last which adds even greater appeal. The C2S has always been my favorite. After the 993 the 72 911 of any flavor T E or S(MFI, rear fender oil fill). The modern cars are all too big despite their vastly improved performance and reliability. I’m okay w/ my .2 GT3 because the engine is pure Porsche, and, in my opinion, so is the PDK-S. If they were in a smaller package all would be perfection. In my opinion the 992 has gone off the reservation for its corporate mandated “brand” emphasis on the exterior and its thoroughly pedestrian interior.

Personally.....I have always been more attracted to the latest versions of cars.....especially if you want the best car made to date. I like late model Corvettes and 911’s and never liked the looks of the older versions of either. I am well aware some of the older versions are worth a lot of money.....but I am not into collecting. A new Corvette or new 911 will hand the older versions **** to themself....no contest!

I can guarantee you that when the 994 comes out, this poll will have the 992 winning easily, just like the 991 is doing now, with a chorus of 992 owners praising it as the last pure enthusiast's 911. (And the 993 will probably still rank highly since pretty much everyone likes those, regardless of what they own.)

We know that 992 had to be the more developed of the water cooled platform, the next will be more eletric than internal combustion based
to me between the 991 and 992 the true development, design and platform wise, stopped with the 991

I have only said that 993 is a superb car appreciated also now, in the future.
991 was an amazing 911 but now 992 is better in a lot of parts, and of that is not enough, is the first 911 very similar to the winner 993.
It's sounds me like the lot of issue find by everyone that new model have... Every time new 911 coming out, some people (often owner previous model) tell "oh my god, what a line, bad shifter, bad wheels, bad colors, bad sound, bad back grill, bad interior,... Hope that mom porsche fix these awful things in future😂😂😂"
After 3/4 years thousand people in the world have the new model and love it more than is wife... Man, some history !!!
I follow 911 since a lot, 996...997...991 and now with 992 (reviewer confirm me my opinion) I can just see the future for this model... Very beautiful future... We can see similar 991 first opinion with some better fix. For 996 or 997 wasn't the same, you can check it in several old articles
I'm happy you can find peace with a new panamera, now very good tourism car.
I'll refresh this post when new release coming...a note in iCal and that's it. My job..😉

I agree.....the 991 is best and will be until I upgrade to my 992.....and I am not biased at all.....it’s just a simple indisputable fact😏. I am sure there were hold outs when the first car came out. Some would have argued the advantage of a good reliable analog horse😎.

996 is my worst (Only for eggs issue)
993 is my best
991.2 is my car
992 is my recent order
In this case, only in this case, my purism win against news...
993 is my preferred 911
This because I think the lines, the rear, the wheels, the engine, the balanced are unbelievable in that years... Also now after 25 years also the market tell this.
Probably 993 is also the last 911 for very purist because newer models are always more GT, more comfortable, more technological...993 was wheels, steering wheel and road...
