I like the look of it overall...but 4% heavier and 4% more expensive...that sucks.

On the bright side, the S version is already faster than the GT3 manual 0-60 at 3.6s with a manual (vs 3.9s quoted by Porsche for the manual .2 GT3)

If GT version keeps NA, it going to be damn hard to get better performance. Guessing next GT will either have turbo or NA+hybrid.

I guess it is official. My .1 GT3 isn’t going anywhere.

Yeah, the 991 PDK shifter was a work of art. What happened?

I'm guessing change for the sake of change. The PDK in the Panamera/Cayenne are pretty nice. The PDK on the 991's were exemplary. I don't understand this change in lever size and shape. I'm guessing the first person/company to create something to retrofit the old PDK or install the Panamera/Cayenne PDK lever will earn a lot of money from rennlisters haha

Yeah you nailed it perfectly. just insecure about what they have, really dumb. I see this over and over on rennlist constantly. They only made 1 of my car right?!??! and only 12 Gt3's are being made for the north western section of the bottom half of Utah of North america United states correct?!?!?! and no one else can get pts, only me right?!?!?! jeez enjoy your car already this new car looks great. It was built by the same designer who made the last 4....which all also looked great...

I dont know how they could have done a better job tbh. They modeled this after the 70's turbo, huge ***, nice widened front track and a skinny center body....Sounds like a great recipe to me. That is literally what the GT rs's are. They kept buttons when everyone else is 100% digital. They left the tachometer non digital. I mean lets hear it from all the 991 and prev gen owners why they hate the new and improved body and looks and how the designers who live and breathe this all day long got it all wrong. Lets hear what the rennlist geniuses would have done that these guys could not...

I like it, just hope the particulate filter doesn't come to the US across the models as Henry mentioned the 4S has in his video.

I for one wanted to like the 992, and the new GT3 may still win me over. Maybe the interior is a lot better in person. Maybe the rear looks better in person. But as it stands right now I think the real winner tonight might be the 996.

I really wonder how AP and his team will be able to still give the 992 GT3/RS interiors a race car vibe if Porsche only allows them to change the steering wheel/gear shifter like the 991 cars? Porsche hates too many different parts to produce.

Everything about that interior says entry level BMW/audi, not Porsche.

I can’t even see an option to do carbon fiber on that weird mini shelf under the PCM, or a place for it on the doors?

I hope at least AP can give GT cars a real PDK shifter, and options for carbon fiber.

This terrible interior/exterior and likely no more NA engines by the end of 992 GT3, (certainly by the time the next all new GT3 arrives in 9 years ), confirms that I will likely keep my 991.2 GT3 for the rest of my life!

That interior makes me want to puke. Front end is nice. Not a fan of the mirrors. Rear is ok. Width is very nice. Love the new wheel style.

Performance is surprising as it’s only 25hp more and heavier. Surprising to see 3.4 0-60 w sport chrono

It’s amusing to me how at the launch they jumped right into the safety features and cruise control and that new concierge service versus Mark Webber hyping up its performance like I would have expected

.2 GT3 a keeper imo, no wonder they’re pumping them out. GT team has its work cut out for them

Maybe they'll offer Piano Black as a trim option for the dash.

It is not a Porsche interior. Those seats look like recliners. Big, and cushiony like SL 550 seats.

The dash/gauge cluster turned out better than I thought. The door handles are really cool too.

It's going to take some getting used to. This is clearly not the car to buy whatsoever. It's obvious the 992.2 is the one to hold out for. This is just a test mule for the real deal hybrid one to come out. I'm willing to bet 992.2 Turbo S is going to be McLaren fast.

I can see it now. The 992 GT cars will have a throwback optional dash with analog gauges - for more $$

Other than the Cayman-like rear and the fake tips, I like the exterior. Loving this old-school wheel design.

Is there a definitive/official answer on whether or not we'll have another naturally-aspirated engine for the GT3?
