I still look at a 991.2 and think gorgeous...I thought that from the very beginning with the 991 intro short of the decklid venting switching direction, and that I did come to be ok with...but ugh this one is tougher...

Normal 911, s and 4s may start the traditional slope down...the more individualized models though (GTS, T, turbo/s, and GT's) may actually hold for a bit longer than normal if the aesthetic doesn't really warm up...

Let’s be objective to facts for a minute and set aside design opinions. The new car had a pretty good bump in price. Rising tides raise all ships. The higher MsRP should likely help all used 911’s. We have to see how the nastgia for NA shakes out. The 992 has the same engine (basically) of the 991.2 and the same chassis as the 991. The 991.2 performance and tech is no longer the latest and greatest so the used market will be interesting to see.

its like I tell people about real estate; for those not in the business, the only time value matters is during a transaction. If you buy something to enjoy then keep it as long as you are enjoying it.

I actually believe the price jump in the 992 will initially slow the depreciation of the 991.2 and have no effect on the depreciation slope.
