yes, but that’s because they switched from NA to a heavier turbo engine.
Now you have another turbo with same size engine that’s a lot heavier than the previous model, in a car company that supposedly prizes lightness.
No, they only prize profit margins, or they’d have done more to lighten the 992.

If 991.2 sales go up and orders are filled quicker than usual, Porsche will know that they have a problem with the 992. I don't like what I've seen so far and am glad my T is on the boat coming my way. I feel like I got one of the last good ones.

55 pounds, 55 kg, whatever, 500 million not-so-Red Chinese don't give a ****. They will buy all the 992s the company can make. 75% of that audience was Asian.

I'm whispering sweet nothings in my Carrera Ts ear right now.

Not a fan of the font used for rear labeling and door sills. Looks Chinese, sorry. Trying to be too cute.
The front bumper looks a bit awkward to me (body color plastic area).
The Wahl electric shaver shifter is bizarre. In my Turbo I like to actually use the shifter to shift sometimes.
Drive mode **** is ugly...
All that said, this S now has GTS performance. So they have that going for them.

Did I mishear the guy or did he call the lines from back to front like a "Coke bottle?" And that actor guy, I mean, if he is such a Porsche enthusiast - and if Cali is such a Porsche fan haven - why on earth does one of the headlining presenters not even own a Porsche? He's going to get paid to sing its praises and then drive home from the appearance...in a Prius? The whole performance seemed forced, as if they were scraping for things to talk about. It almost seemed to me like they avoided discussing the interior in detail because they just aren't that proud of it - and in my opinion, for good reason. Sometimes, in life, we need to take two steps back before taking one step forward. That cliche may be the 992 in a nutshell.

One thing I did learn just now is that Porsche will not be putting particulate filters on anything but those cars that are destined fo EU and China markets.
