There had not been a definitive answer on this. No need for insults. They are incorporating these into the catalytic converters. Like they're going to make two different part numbers? We will see. A USA dealer is promoting the benefits of them.
Porsche has been quoted as saying ALL cars will be fitted with them. No distinctions or exceptions were noted.

I don't think enough has been talked about how the Manual Transmission for the 992 is in jeopardy... A big reason why the manual was around for the 991 was because the Manual Gearbox shared about 80 percent of the parts with the PDK. With the new 8 speed PDK the 911 is getting, there's no way there'll be a 8 speed manual transmission. So then it becomes a question of cost for Porsche, the costs of keeping the current 991 7 speed transmission will go up and the 6 speed manual in the GT3 I suspect costs way more than 7 speed...
I think Porsche delayed the manual on purpose to gauge how orders would look coming in and if there were enough they could kill it off next summer quietly.

They could keep the 7, or upgrade us to the GT6. Though the GT manual is undoubtedly more expensive, there's no way it surpasses the cost of an 8 speed PDK.
I hope they keep the manual alive and well; the 992 is the first generation that I'll have the slightest chance of affording new, and I want to order a car once in my life... Before the manual dies.

Possible, though the re manual-ing of the GT3 says otherwise.

It’s bad enough that Porsche made a mess of the styling of the street car I love, but they had to go and style the body of the race car to look like the 992? I turned on the Rolex 24 hour and threw up in my mouth a little when I saw the 911. Looks so stupid on a race body.

Hence the new slogan: "sell today, win tomorrow".
