To be fair, Porsche is also doing this on the GT2RS which I don't like either as are many other manufacturers for cost savings.

Right on STG....I have been stressing about the red light since Day 1...infact the minute I saw it. All the youtube videos...holy ****...the light stands out way to much. It is really fugly. Why did Porsche Sign off on this....
Guess what, I showed the 992 interior pics with the nubbin shifter to my wife - and she said omg it looks like a short d##k wtf....lol.
Also we would have way more better noise if the darn Exhaust tips were connected to the pipes...omg....What is wrong with this company now. Who are they hiring....I rather save money now and order a Singer Porsche

Serious question: I wasn't here when the 991 and 981 were first being launched. Was there a lot of shilling and astroturfing going on back then, or is this a new trend with the 718 and 992? It is surprisingly hard to dig up relevant threads from that era on Rennlist.

The more I look at the 992, the more the 996 even looks better...heck I will be able to deal with the fried egg headlights......but holding final decision when I see one at the dealer. This time I may have to vote with my wallet.
I just do not want to spend more money fixing the 3rd brakelight (I do not want create a custom part for this).....the exhaust tip was like WTF for me.....What is the point of getting sports exhaust if I basically get a bumper with built in exhaust tips...sure the modify the part but the entire thing is messed up....why even have the exhaust tips in this case...but I guess they made those holes to save weight lol.
The more I see 992, the more I love the 991.1/.2 obviously everything before it.
If we can get all these social media reviewers to call out these flaws, maybe then Porsche will be forced to apply a hotfix to these cars. We need Jerry Seinfeld and other connected Porsche enthusiasts to get Porsche Mgt attention. Even the 918 owners can help.
