I can see potential in those pics.

Man is that a fugly wing or what..

Archimedes 10-11-2018 06:36 PM

It's amazing how much better the 992 looks when you remove those awful bumpers and ditch the clam.

No way that stays. Picture it without the big supports, then smooth out the ends. Or just picture a wing like the 991 and you can see the potential.

they made the car so ugly so not to impress too much when released ?

Perhaps that wing Camo is because they will have the uprights attach like the RSR? I like the mini-ducktail....even if it is GT4 ish

Same as current iron brakes, but bigger wheels...

Maybe. Hard to tell from a pic of a prototype

We all will want it and will be in demand unless the economy tanks. Then the same people who hav been buying since the 996 days will buy again.

This is a goose-neck wing, same as on 935.. just with the camo backing plates are on, something they do each time to mask the uprights. this looks similar to the 996.2 gt3 wing, except my humble prediction is that we finally get automatic movable aero front and rear on gt3.. you can see big articulation gaps between wing and uprights. Probably some kind of inflatable front splitter like on the current turbo. This is great stuff guys! Don't think in terms of ugly or attractive, think in terms of new functionalities.. that's what we should get excited about. This isn't a beautiful targa, it's a gt3 FFS!

Maybe Porsche is trying to make the Senna look good.

You realize they always start out with an ugly wing right? Maybe not this ugly, but still ugly.

Camo.

Camo.

On the mules, they always start out with a wing which is partially covered, but it's always the correct design. From a brand and functional perspective, a goose-neck like 935, is An advancement. I'm quite confident this is the wing, and it's not a bad thing at all!
