Default 992 - gear lever prototype vs. production

I just noticed that when comparing the spy pictures of the new Cayenne with the production vehicle, they actually changed the design of the gear lever!

Can it be that Porsche might as well change the final design of the 992 gear lever in the production car?

Also just realized where Porsche took the inspiration from. Doesn’t look too far off the Porsche 918 Spyder‘s gear lever.

So did everybody also compare it to a Braun shaver back then?

What....no one uses an electric shaver on their way to work?

Glad I'm only a manual guy.

Why is no one talking about the giant red button on the prototype console. I want that red button. I wonder what does it do? ejector seats, lasers, missles, or better - does it engage the super duper pursuit mode

Electronic kill switch:-) I’ve seen them in other company’s test cars.
