Hello All.

Wondering what discounts from MSRP have been negotiated for 2019 911 orders? I was told MSRP by a dealer in Southern California from whom I have purchased a car in the past.

Anyone able to negotiate a discount on an order?

Not sure what you are asking,....there will be some 2019 991.2 cars produced. If you are strictly asking them about 992 version cars, then I don't think anyone knows at this point. (including the dealers). I would expect them to say MSRP on a 992. Dealers will take your money for anything,....even if they have info on it or not. They may put you on the list and may just sit on your $$$ for a while and do nothing.

^^^ Good point re: 2019 991.2. I assumed the dealer was talking about a 992, but I will ask him to specify. Delivery was scheduled to be end of Sept/early Oct 2018.

For a car being delivered in October of this year it's most likely a 991.2, not a 992. We don't know the final specs/look/price/etc of the actual 992 yet, so there's no way you'd be able to take delivery of one by this October.

^^^ I'm sure you are correct. The dealer's insistence on MSRP because the car would be "one of the first 2019 delivered in the USA" made me think 992, but I realize I must have been mistaken.

Nothing special about a 2019 991.2,.....great car, but you should be able to get a discount for sure IMO, could be anything from 3% to 8% depending on where you are, dealers, etc....

992 has not even been announced yet. I wouldn't expect much if any discounts for the first 6 months following initial availability.
