I am glad you shopped it as I did as well. My quote was a tad higher due to my higher mileage (20K). I believe it's a no brainer to have piece of mind for 3 more years (not 7 as it includes your OEM warranty). I did have spoiler issues but it's been bulletproof.
I am being told that the Porsche warranty is better than Fidelity. In other words, you will get less push back from the dealer and the price difference is not worth the risk.

Who is telling you this? The dealer? haha "Porsche Platinum VSC" is not a Porsche warranty, it is a Safe Guard warranty, any issues with Safe Guard's warranty coverage in the service department you'd be on your own to deal with.

Do I get 7 more years of coverage after factory warranty ends? Or Total 7 years of coverage including 4 years factory warranty?

Fidelity's coverage is 7 years from the date you purchase the extended warranty coverage into the future, mileage is additive as well, it has nothing to do with your vehicle's inservice date or factory warranty status.

I think that price is really great for an extended warranty to give you peace of mind. That said I added 2015 turbo S with almost 60,000 miles. Never gave me any problems at all. I was the third owner and I had the car from 44,000 miles on. Looking back at the Carfax history, it never needed anything done to it. The only thing I ever did was oil changes. No brake fluid flush no maintenance at four years. Just oil changes.
