if this is your first time...add it carefully - technically, according to the owners manual...its 1ltr from min to max - but it isn't a good idea to add that amount at one time.....try 1/4 ltr at a time (checking level along the way) and hold off on the final add until you've checked it a few times (after a ride) aware that it is not overfilled - the manual makes a big deal about overfill and not to let it happen - if you're able to drain / remove it yourself then i guess its not big deal, but still a hassle

my dealer did my first few and when they brought it out to me, i checked the level and it did not show being fully topped up - the tech came out to tell me they know the correct amount was added, and they know it doesn't show fully topped up - they told me to drive it, and check it again (they left me an open ltr in the frunk - it takes 9.x ltrs with new filter).....they were right....by the time i got home and checked, it was perfect - they didn't want to overfill it

hope that helps - but i'm sure there is plenty of input on here about it...

Are you burning oil?

My last oil change was right at the full mark, it’s been holding pretty steady at that spot since.

I had the app show me incorrect readings a few times. Check the reading in the car. I never had to top up between oil changes (every 6k miles)

Yeah, I wouldn't trust the app. It can be very delayed.

it's using oil properly then - check it every now and then..."you'll be fine"
