@JETT992 I see they make one that I could use to protect my night vision camera. Would you know if the night vision would work with the grill blocking it ?
Jolly good question! My understanding is that ACC uses radar microwaves and, according to forum users, this isn't affected by the grille. Zunsport specifically make a centre grille for the 992TTS that has a cut out for the small (optical) driving camera (which gives you surround parking etc). I am assuming they make the cut out because mesh would obstruct the optical camera. So I would assume the same issue would arise for the night vision (optical thermal imaging) camera. HOWEVER, all of this is based on assumption without a modicum of scientific/technical expertise so you would probably want to reach out to Zunsport to be sure. They are apparently v helpful.
EDIT: Just seen a post on another thread in which someone mentions the grille has no effect on the NV camera system...what is it they say about assumptions....?
