Same. $344,840. 🤦🏽‍♂️

Sucks you can’t spec the ceramica wheels and have the black interior or have the PORSCHE script without adding heritage interior.

Least not on the config. CXX would gladly take the money though.

Any idea if PTS will be available for the S/T? Someone said all PTS allocations were taken for 2024?

It's available in the configurator. I'll let you know when I start specing ours.

This car is an overpriced let down. Original S/T was a track focused version of the S, now it’s a more streetable car than an RS… wrong direction based on the ‘heritage’.

It’s not limited enough to make it special, nearly 2000 which is probably almost half of WW tourings?

I get these will all sell out, but for $300k+, at face value it’s a rip off.

It would have been more exciting for it to be under 3k lbs

Default Current thinking on a spec.

This is what I'm currently thinking on the spec: https://configurator.porsche.com/porsche-code/PR58N319

US dealers have not officially received allocations yet. Many dealers know they're getting at least 1, larger ones know they're getting 2+ based on their Sport Classic allocation figures.

In summary, every dealer is getting 1, many larger stores are getting 2, maybe top 10 stores could get 3. So the guys getting phone calls already are the top 1 or 2 customers for the store so the dealers are comfortable making those calls.

As much as so many want to believe in here, the vast majority of these will go to customers at MSRP. This is a "reward" car from a dealer to their best 1 or 2 clients. Of course there will be a few stores that will auction off to the highest bidder but that won't be the norm.

I’m not buying the cool aid about the 4.2L engine being incompatible with emissions…..if per the other posts, porsche can get away with higher emissions in the GT division because
1- GT cars are a separate low volume division
2-by the end of the decade all Porsches other than 911 variants will be full electric.
3- many Carrera models will be hybrid.

With all that Porsche can make a 4.2L NA GT car for either the 992.2 or the 994.1 models.

I agree with those who are disappointed that porsche didn’t do something more special with the ST like a 4.2L, given the 60 year opportunity.

personally, I’m still satisfied with my 991.2 GT3.

With the crazy ADMs and allocation games, I’m not going to buy another new Porsche GT car unless it has both the double wishbone AND a 4.2L NA engine. Just one or the other is insufficient for me to endure the inevitable dealer games and ADM.

Yup, not sold on there being no 4.2 either.

The existing 4.2L does not fit that mold.
That article is from 2020, so it is a little stale, but FSW is a particularly prescient fellow; think about his comments in the context of Georg’s latest news from AMG - https://www.caranddriver.com/news/a4...e63-v8-return/

I agree with you; Porsche has gotten lazy over time as resources have been stretched to accommodate EV development (throughout the VAG umbrella) and not winning any important races. Oliver Blume is obviously stretched thin. There is nothing new or novel about the S/T except the shorter R&P, the LWFW (which AP swore was unnecessary / wouldn’t work; if you’ve followed him long enough, you know he lies constantly), and the unexpected deletion of RWS. The 991.1 GT3 arrived just over a decade ago, and that car was a significant sea change; the biggest updates since then - IMO - have been the bump to 4.0 displacement, double wishbone front suspension on the 992, and the extreme aero of the 992 RS.

Karl Ludvigsen once proclaimed “Excellence Was Expected;” is it still?
