Default Help with Color Selection

Please no flaming...I realize this is a personal choice and color selection has been discussed here ad naseum.

I have a 2015 JBM C2S Cab and while I like the car the work required to keep the black clean is a full time job. I am retired and promised myself I wouldn’t work again . That, plus I’ve never had a 911 coupe and would like one, has me thinking about a trade. I’ve had JBM, Guards Red, Arctic White, and Agate gray in my various P-cars. This time I want something bold but within the non PTS color palette. This has me thinking of 3 colors in particular, and in order of consideration: Miami Blue (I like Mexico Blue and Voodoo Blue better but not willing to spend the extra money or deal with the wait of PTS), Racing Yellow, and Carmine Red. Thoughts and opinions welcome. I know what opinions are worth but please send em. As an aside, I would never have considered Miami Blue until last week when I saw a few cars in that color at the Atlanta Porsche Experience. My concerns about Miami Blue are would I get tired of it, and comments such as ‘what’s that dude doing driving his wife’s Porsche?’. To me the color really popped, and it is bold. Racing Yellow a close second. Carmine is a beautiful red imo. Thanks!

Colors choices can generally be divided into two groups -

1 White, black, silver, gray to not be noticed

1a Everything else - adventuresome

BTW get Ceramic Pro coatings to forget about "the work required to keep the black clean is a full time job".

Love the Miami blue! However, as a close second and maybe a better everyday color, I would choose Carmine Red. That is my favorite red.

Carmine red in person is subdued and classy IMHO maybe not bold enough for you.

I like Miami Blue, but it is a blue/green or even a bit turquoise in person so be aware. I saw it in person and really liked it. With black accents (wheels) it looks particularly stunning.

Racing yellow is lighter than I thought in person.

All great choices. I don't think there is such a thing as a "wrong" color. I do think there is such a thing as colors clashing or not looking right together. This is why I am focused on interiors. People may order a color exterior and get it and say "I don't like it even though I thought I would," whereas interiors or interior/exterior combinations can be "off."

The one color I like in the most in the standard offering that is "bold" and not on your list that I like is sapphire blue. In person it is bright in the sun and different than standard offerrings you see.

Miami is one of the nicest Non-PTS bold blues in a long time IMO.
If I hadn't been approved for PTS, it would have been on my short list.

Carmine is a great red. I don't like Racing yellow, mainly because I thought Speed was a better version of yellow.

Love my yellow and coming up on 3 years of ownership I'd probably order same color again. Miami blue close second but I'd need to see it in person first.

Thanks for all the input guys, tough choice for sure. I've pretty much decided that if I move forward it will probably be Miami Blue (leaning that way at the moment at least) or Carmine Red, although IMO both are beautiful. For 'bold', for me anyway, Miami Blue is currently edging out Carmine Red although that color is stunning. I've attached a few pictures from the configurator showing wheel choices that pique my interest. Keeps the thoughts coming. Thanks!!!

If Miami, go with the top one. For red, the bottom.

Good choice with the Miami. It's unique for sure. If you get tired of it then trade it.

Would do that however I don't think there's anyone in my area that does it. I did self install of CQuartz UK on my Sport Techno wheels last winter and they are a piece of cake to keep clean, but I would never attempt a DIY job using that stuff on a black car.
