Anyone have any tips and tricks?
I enjoy driving with the windows down in the summer but find that there is too much noise and buffeting no matter how much I roll them down. Some two door coupes have flip out rear windows that help with the air flow, and I miss that feature in the 911.

PS: I don't have a sun roof.

I like the AWEs Wind Diffusers better than the Blackmills since they look more OEM, and work well.

I have the awe and it looks 100% stock. It cures 85% of the buffering. If I tracked i would get the other ones as supposedly they do 100% although as they stick out further they dont look stock.

AWEs are about half the cost of the Blackmills and since they look more OEM more seem to buy those but track rats seem to like the Blackmills better.

Any available for 996 GT3? Or are those too raw and haggard, so why even bother?

I think it is a matter of them not being (at least as) necessary prior to the 991.

In one friend's 991.2 GT3 it is unbearable past around 100mph with the windows down. Even wearing a helmet. It's like your head is going to explode.

In another buddy's 997 GT3 it was no problem whatsoever at those speeds. Noisy, sure, but not blow out your eardrums pressure.

^^^ Yep, I never felt the need for them in my 996. In the 991, the wind buffeting is much worse.
