I went from OEM 255 to 275 on my SQ5 for winters and its a beast. 285 summers now.
makes sense. I ran the 19/255 all around on my S4 v going narrower and smaller. True. It was awesome. Cayman was also the same winter and summer.

Spoke with tire rack today. 295 will not fit on the stock rears (too much of a gap since the GTS rear w/ CL are 12 inches. Not likely Pirelli will have the sizes needed. The 305 is only in Sotto 3 and not Sotto 2. The front size is NA in the 3. I'll need to get the wheels which is fine (to run the 295s). He said someone sr at TRack just got one so they will have a solution on their site soon. Yeah. It's August. But I like to plan.

i just got a 991.2 Targa GTS and I agree, you have to plan, especially since I have to deal with Canadian winters. How about a 19" centerlock wheel with winter tires? Would that fit?

Just a plug for Damon Witters at TR. I live in Chicago and have purchased countless sets of wheels tires etc for various Porsches over the years. I trust no one more than Damon in this area.

I'll thanks for the TR referral. I have purchased a number of sets of the years - but not from anyone that is still there! Unfortunately 19in won't work for me w/ceramic brakes.
